The recently renovated barn conversion is designed to take advantage of the countryside views with the open plan living area located on the first floor and the bedroom and en-suite bathroom situated downstairs. To the rear of the cottage is a private patio perfect for alfresco dinners.
A beautiful wooden staircase leads up to Poppy’s Barn’s stunning open plan, first floor living area. This double aspect room has been tastefully decorated with contemporary features that help maintain the character property.
To the front of the living area is the lounge, which has a comfy sofa perfectly angled to watch the wall-screen mounted TV. Alongside the lounge is the fold out balcony, which allows guests to take full advantage of the Devon countryside views.
In the middle of the room is the dining table, which has two high chairs. The table is ideally located next to a large floor to ceiling window that wonderfully reflects the original features of the cottage.
At the rear of the cottage is the well-equipped kitchen, which features an electric oven with hob, a fridge and a washing machine.
Located on the ground floor of Poppy’s Barn is the large double bedroom. The bedroom, which is carpeted for comfort has lovely character features including country cottage windows and small sections of exposed wall.
At the heart of the bedroom is a 6ft double bed, which on request can be separated into two full size single beds. The bedroom also has a built-in wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a wall-mounted TV.
Alongside the bedroom on the ground floor is the en-suite bathroom. This stunning bathroom has been finished to a very high standard and has a walk-in shower complete with two shower heads, a wash basin and a loo.
To the rear of the cottage is a paved patio area that is fully fenced to give it a feel of privacy. On the patio is a dining table and two chairs, as well as a charcoal BBQ.
